Qualitative and Ethnographic Research
We carry out global qualitative research with children as young as 3, using techniques developed in play therapy. Our qualitative researchers are expert in understanding how to communicate with children and young people and how to enable them to express their opinions. We carry out traditional focus groups as well as triads, friendship pairs and peer-to-peer research.
Ethnographic research produces a detailed and rich description of children and young people’s experience within the context of their everyday lives. Based on observation, field notes, film and interview, ethnography can provide insight into the reality of today’s families; it is a tacit means of explaining behavior and motivation. We use edited film to present our findings to our clients.
